Fort Rucker, AL — October 1, 2007 — The US Army Aviation Technical Test Center has awarded a $22 million, 5-year Engineering Services support contract to Westar Aerospace & Defense Group, Inc.. From the ASDWire Media Alert announcement,

“Westar, which has served the ATTC for more than 20 years, will provide
engineering and aviation testing services, ranging from developmental
testing of advanced aircraft survivability systems to complex Preliminary
Airworthiness Evaluations of the MH-60M Blackhawk helicopter for the Army’s
special operations forces.

Westar also will assist in planning the integration of the ATTC with the
Redstone Technical Test Center in Huntsville, Ala., which will form the new
Redstone Test Center.”
