Fort Rucker, AL — October 20, 2006 — CLM Software employees Richard A. Stumpf and William D. Ezell were presented
this week with Department of the Army Certificates of Appreciation by Mr. Larry K. Martin, Director of the Test Technologies
Directorate of the US Army Aviation Technical Test Center.
Mr. Stumpf was recognized for contributions to ongoing aircraft sensor systems testing:
“In recognition
for distinguished performance for the period October 2005 to October 2006 by providing exceptional support to the U.S. Army
Aviation Technical Test Center (ATTC). Mr. Stumpf demonstrated superb engineering and technical skills and played a key role
in the programming and integration of Army Aviation’s first CMWS 3D flyable model, depicting sensor placements and coverage
for the newly fielded aircraft protection system. This system will be used to address current and future requirements and
ensure an ever-growing and unprecedented test capability within the Developmental Test Command and that ATTC is poised to
provide real solutions to units engaged in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom.”
Mr. Ezell was recognized similarly for contributions to test-support infrastructure:
“In recognition for
distinguished performance for the period October 2005 to October 2006 by providing exceptional support to the U.S. Army
Aviation Technical Test Center (ATTC). He demonstrated superb engineering and technical skills and played a key role
in developing, planning, and fielding Army Aviation’s first Distributed Test Control Center (DTCC), which is
utilized by Flight Test Directorate to address current and future testing requirements. This ability will ensure an
ever-growing and unprecedented testing capability within the Developmental Test Command and ensure that ATTC is poised
to provide real solutions to units engaged in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom.”
